Wrap using brown packing paper and a newsprint strip to make a wall mural. Put it in a box and place it in a corner. The colorful leaves look amazing.
Paper Bag Costumes
Dressing up is everyone’s interest. With Halloween coming near, you can make costumes with paper bags coming from the grocery. Simply cut the bag in the back cut out neck holes and arm. Decorate as you wish, glue the tape and close the back. Surprising, but true, these costumes are durable, easy to recycle, economical and super fun. If the bags are plain, you can try your hand with colors and sprinkle few colorful dots.
Leaves Picture Frame
Ask your child to collect the fallen pile of leaves. It should be freshly fallen leaves. Get bright leaves, orange, yellow and red. Find an old picture frame that is no more in use. You can ask your children to pull some colorful leaves for this craft even from a tree. You require some craft glue. Wrap the leaves around the frame and cover using the glue to seal the leaves and give the picture frame a new look. Now to complete the project get some cute picture and place it in the frame.
Scarecrow
The most popular symbol of the season is a scarecrow. This can be hung in front of the house as a guardian. Sew a pair of old pants and a long-sleeved shirt to the pants waist. Sew the sleeve cuffs and close the pant legs. Allow your children to stuff the scarecrow using old newspapers, fiber fill or straw. Tie some shoes and gloves. Use an old pillow case and set it as the head by stuffing it. Allow your children to paint faces and top it with a hat. Prop it on a chair or nail it to a cross board and plant it or hang it.
Autumn Necklaces
Autumn is the right time to find lots of things such as pinecones, chestnuts, acorns, etc. You need a thread, needle and some time. Prepare an autumn necklace by placing the cone or acorns in between and the chestnuts on either side.
Cards
Card making is always fun craft and children also love the importance of reaching their family and friends. Pick cards that are plain, ask your children to collect the autumn leaves and let them stick them on the card. Help them in sticking beautiful colored leaves close by and this is a simply beautiful project.
