Home cleaning products can be very expensive, especially when you need to buy individual cleaning agents that will be used on specific parts of your home. But did you know that you can actually cut down the cost on your grocery expense by just using some products at home for cleaning?
Actually, little did some know that there are many products sitting inside your kitchen cabinet that you can use for cleaning. They are very effective to make sure that your home is squeaky clean and bacteria free. But above all, these products are very safe to use, and not as harsh as what the chemically made home cleaning agents can be.
To know more about these home cleaning products, please see the list below:
- Vinegar – the nice thing about vinegar is that it is biodegradable, so it is friendly to the environment. You can use this to kill unwanted weeds in your home’s garden or backyard, which is a greener way if you compare it with using spray chemicals for weeds.
Vinegar can also be used to clean faucets, drainage, sinks, and other metals that have hard to break mineral deposits. The acid of vinegar can break the deposits and leave your faucets, sinks, and more, clear and clean again, just like what it looks like when it was new.
- Salt – salt is very cheap. So if you want to save up on your home cleaning agent, you can use salt to clean several parts of your home, including but not limited to oven stains, pots and pans, and other tough and hard to remove stains on your kitchen tiles. However, since salt has a rough texture, make sure not to rub it hard, especially on surfaces like enamel, because salt can definitely scrape a layer of this material easily.
- Baking Soda – if you want a cheap and very effective disinfectant, use baking soda. All you have to do is to dilute a couple of tablespoons of baking soda in a small pail of water, and use it to clean floors, bath tubs, sinks, and even kitchen counters. You can also mix baking soda and vinegar to make a very effective disinfectant spray for carpets, area rugs, cushions and even your sofa.
- Vegetable Oil – wood polishers can also be expensive, so why buy when you can use vegetable oil instead? Vegetable oil when mixed with vinegar can provide a nice and glossy finish to your wooden floor tiles, furniture, and even tables. And since it is mixed with vinegar, you are also disinfecting the surfaces of your home, because vinegar is a well known natural antiseptic agent.
These are the different products that you can use at home for cleaning. They are very effective in removing dirt and bacteria that makes your home less attractive and less comfortable to live in. Fortunately, these products are very much available in your kitchen, so you do not have to spend too much on your cleaning agents anymore.
